Our Company
Up North Films is a full service videography and marketing agency. We have one goal and that is to streamline business and brand owners content creation process from start to finish. Our founder and CEO John Hunter Jr. began a career in multimedia production in 2014 and not long after added marketing. Early on Marketing for 3 of his own businesses and a variety of businesses in the Twin Cities. Prior to Up North Films John worked with a few notable celebrities such as Andy Elliot, Rick Ross, and successful entrepreneur Tommy Mello.
In early 2024 John accepted an offer of employment at DOPE Marketing which ranked as the #475 fastest growing privately owned business in the entire US. Ranking #38 overall in marketing and advertisement. John was the driving force behind their organic marketing success and social media management. Providing marketing assets such as graphic designs, videography, email campaigns and a host of other creative assets quickly advanced him to a leadership role as Director Of Organic Marketing. After making an impact for such a large company John knew it was time to help others succeed with high quality organic marketing assets thus Up North Films was born.
